Veteran harmonica ace Junior wells and rookie blues guitar player Buddy Guy teamed up in the 1960's to become the very best Electric Blues duo of all time. Guy and Wells were longtime resident musicians at the famous Teresa's lounge on Chicago's South Side. Both were also Chess Records recording artists who backed up Muddy Waters, where they received the very finest education in the playing the blues. There partnership produced many recordings eventually leading to the 1965 album "Hoodoo Man Blues" and the ground-breaking album "Play The Blues". The two artists remained very best friends and performed together from 1962 until Junior Wells untimely passing in 1998. Buddy Guy is now 78 years old and continues to be a musical force, performing live frequently, operating his own Chicago blues club, and still playing the music he loves.
